The agreement

These terms apply when you book a website, add-on or business plan with Spiderweb Design. The written estimate, including the package, add-ons, delivery estimate and the amount due, is part of the agreement. If we issue a later quotation, that quotation replaces the estimate for the items it covers.

Prices include VAT

Displayed prices include VAT at 15%. The amount you pay is the inclusive total. A tax invoice, once issued, shows the VAT portion as the inclusive amount minus that amount divided by 1.15. VAT is not added on top of the prices in the planner.

Payment

The full inclusive amount is payable at checkout, before development begins. Card payments (Yoco or PayFast) and EFT are arranged by us after the booking. Banking details are sent with the payment request. We start the clock on delivery once payment has cleared and we have your content, logo and access.

Delivery

Working-day estimates start once all content, logo and access are received. Starter is 5–7 working days, Business 7–10, Pro 10–14, and an Online Store or any custom CMS is 14–21. A custom system is quoted. Rush delivery is a target of under 5 working days and adds 25% to the website portion only. A business plan has its own timing: 7–10 days for a Lean plan, and 2–3 weeks for a Full plan with financials. These are estimates, not fixed dates.

Revisions

Two revision rounds are included. An extra round is R450 incl. VAT. A round is one consolidated set of feedback.

Hosting and care

Standard packages include 12 months of hosting. From month 13, hosting is from R99/month incl. VAT, or R199/month incl. VAT for stores, unless you take a care plan. Care Basic is R499/month incl. VAT and Care Pro is R899/month incl. VAT (hosting, updates and backups). Care is billed monthly and is separate from the project total. You can cancel a care plan with 30 days' notice.

Business plans

A Lean Business Plan is R3,450 incl. VAT and a Full Business Plan with Financials is R7,950 incl. VAT. A pitch deck is R2,950 incl. VAT. When a priced plan is bought together with a website, both the website and the plan are 10% off. That saving appears as one discount line. The discount does not apply to the pitch deck, and it does not apply to a plan bought on its own. Large or regulated funding plans are quoted separately.

Your content and our work

You confirm you have the right to use the text, photos, logos and product information you supply. We start when the content checklist is complete. After the full project amount is paid, the finished website and the domain registered for you belong to you, subject to third-party licences such as fonts, plugins, payment providers and hosting.

Personal information

We process the contact and project details you give us to reply, prepare the estimate, do the work and send project updates. The privacy notice explains this under POPIA. Checkout asks you to agree before we use those details.

Liability

Our liability for a project is limited to the fees you paid us for that project. We are not liable for lost profit, or for third-party services such as payment providers, registrars or hosting, except where South African law does not allow that limit.
